The Foodseum

In 2021, the Technical College of the Lowcountry engaged DaVinci Development as development manager for the new Foodseum. As part of the Culinary Institute of the South, the Foodseum will be a museum experience that brings to life the true story of Southern food and Lowcountry cuisine. In the project's early stages, the DaVinci Development team worked with staff from TCL to define the Foodseum's vision and engage key stakeholders. From there, DaVinci Development developed a work plan, schedule, and project management and implementation strategies to guide the Foodseum's exhibit design, fabrication, and installation. As development manager, DaVinci Development has maintained control of the project budget and schedule, as well as coordinated the efforts of all project team members to achieve maximum efficiency and adherence to the development goals and objectives. In addition, DaVinci Development has overseen the selection of all project consultants, including the exhibit designer, two curatorial advisors, and the exhibit fabricator. With an opening set for 2024, the Foodseum is poised to become one of the South's premier culinary destinations.
