First Presbyterian Church of Charlotte

In 2016, First Presbyterian Church in Uptown Charlotte, NC, engaged DaVinci Development to define a development program for an underutilized 2.4-acre site to help revitalize their community and mission-driven vision. DaVinci Development interviewed more than 50 stakeholders and led outreach with more than 300 Church and community members, created alternate scenarios for highest and best use, and conducted massing studies and financial analysis. The resulting vision for the proposed project comprises of a variety of senior, affordable, and market-rate housing, as well as creative office space to serve nonprofit startups and entrepreneurs. The project will also include indoor and outdoor flexible event space providing special places to serve the Church and create spaces where the community can come together.
