Seventh & Tryon sits at the intersection of two major thoroughfares in Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina. In 2015, four landowners (City of Charlotte, Mecklenburg Country, Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, and Bank of America) selected DaVinci Development to help attract new development and economic vitality to the area. Currently an underutilized multi-block parcel, DaVinci Development was brought on board to help craft a master plan and development strategy based on market realities for an inclusive and vibrant neighborhood to catalyze the area, unlock value, and increase tax revenues. DaVinci Development evaluated multiple development scenarios to maximize return on investment and meet the landowners' goals and objectives. Components of the redevelopment include new Class A office space, market-rate housing, active street-level retail, and inviting green spaces. DaVinci Development has guided the landowners in this unique, public-private partnership from a Master Plan to a Memorandum of Understanding with Metropolitan Partners (as master developer), and the team anticipates that a Master Developer Agreement will be secured in 2022.
